Samarium Doped Glass Laser Flow Tube Used In Laser
Samarium doped glass is used in the laser transmitter module laser, which is made into laser flow tube after optical cold processing. The role of the laser flow tube in the laser module is to gather the light energy emitted by the krypton lamp onto the laser rod, and then convert it into 1064nm continuous laser through the energy level transition of the laser rod.
The ultraviolet light in the krypton lamp will be absorbed by the laser rod, which will produce color center and make the laser unable to work normally; In addition, the radiation of 1064nm light in the krypton lamp will consume a part of the number of particles at the upper level of the laser, reducing the output of the laser, that is, the de-pumping effect.
Samarium doped glass laser flow tube can absorb the ultraviolet light produced by krypton lamp, and can also absorb 1064nm near-infrared light. It can effectively improve the reliability, service life and laser radiation efficiency of laser components.
